The first visitors log book was started by Emil Petersen in 1968. They continue
to this day and offer a fascinating look at the people and events at the homestead
through the years.
These pages have been transcribed from the original log books kept at the homestead cabin.
Spelling, punctuation, capitalization and syntax are faithful to the original log
books. Dates and days were converted to a standard format for consistency.
