March 11 (Wednesday)
Kyle & Kandice St George visiting for the day. A beautiful 50 degrees out. Did some hiking and played on the rocks.

April 21 (Tuesday)
Terry, Don, Mac in from Whitefish at about 1 pm. Sunshine with a few clouds, 60+ degrees, lite breeze, quiet.

April 22 (Wednesday)
Clear, calm, 35 degrees at 7 am. Misc chores today. Blue birds are back. Clouds & thunder late afternoon. Rained hard & heavy for about ½ hour. Roof leaks still here - 3 in kitchen 1 in each bedroom - set out pans. More lightning & thunder & rain & leaks. Doesn't seem like the same day as this morning.

Happy anniversary #44 to Terry & Don. Calm, sunshine, high thin overcast 35 degrees at 7 am. Will be heading for home this morning. Nice & wet outside.

May 5 (Tuesday)
Kyle and Shooter in from Boulder @ 6:30 am nice 40 degrees saw about a dozen deer and or elk on the way in Just got back from Havre yesterday. gonna see what I can get done around here today.

May 22 (Friday)
Helen from Missoula & Greg from White Sulphur - met at green gate ~ 545 PM. Nice Evening.

May 23 (Saturday)
38 degrees on porch @ 6 AM. Rained off and on all day. Karen St. G. out in afternoon. Friends Bill and Crystal Coffey-Avery out from Helena for dinner, laughs, & drinks. They headed back to Helena about 1030 pm. Time for a good nights sleep! High temp was ~ 50 degrees.

May 24 (Sunday)
Breakfast of pie iron sammies - yum - yum. 41 degrees on porch @ 6:30 AM. Carla, Paul, Sterling out from Missoula about 1100 AM. Helen & Greg cleaned wash stand and table where water jugs sit - a disgusting amount of mouse turds on everything! Please do not leave soap, toilet paper, etc. out - these things (scent, etc.) attract mice. Everything bleached & washed with boiling water.

May 25 (Monday)
34 degrees @ 630 AM. Mice back on wash stand overnight - after that soap again. We put some pepper detractant in an old ashtray - maybe that will help break their habits! Paul & Sterling on the road about 10 AM. General cleaning / straightening up. Final wrap up ~ noon. 66 degrees all's well.

* Sunday addendum
~ 1 pm - Kevin & Michelle St. George w/Kandice & Shooter and Daneil in from Boulder for a nice afternoon. Sterling took Kandice for a rock climb, etc. Snacks, drinks, and fun going through trunk from Lois' basement. Think it was originally @ Livingston. Guests packed up and headed out about 4 - 430 PM

June 5 (Friday)
PM 73 degrees sunny Kevin & Michele in for the weekend. Kassi & Kandice in @ 430 Kyle & Daneil Summers @ 6 PM Dinner - a great evening. Rain & thunder just before dinner. June 6 (Saturday)
59 degrees @ 730 sunny Reworked the stairs by kitchen. Michele mowed the field. Daneil cleaned out the Lilacs. 78 degrees @ 4 PM. Smith (Helen & Greg) stopped by for lunch. Light breeze throughout the day.

June 7 (Sunday)
58 degrees @ 8 AM sunny. finished the chores, Kyle worked on cleaning up deadfall. 84 degrees @ 3 PM out of here, all locked.

June 9 (Tuesday)
Terry, Mac, & DHP in from W Fish at about 2 PM. 88 degrees, cloudy, small breeze. OIpened things up & unpacked. New front steps look good! Some thunder with sprinkles at 5 pm, cooled down a bit.

June 10 (Wednesday)
Mostly overcast, calm, 50 degrees at 7 a.m. Woke up in the middle of the night with heavy rainfall and leaking roof in bedroom & kitchen. No fun! Rain & leak finally stopped after about 1 hour. Planned to spray weeds today but looks like more rain? Turned out to be good spraying day. Did 3 loads …. 45 gallons.

June 11 (Thursday)
Clear, calm, 50 degrees at 7 a.m./ Nice blue sjies. Good for spraying & packing. Finished morning spray. Adios at 10:30.

June 14 (Sunday)
54 degrees at noon. Kevin, Michele, Kyle St. George in to finish the handrail on the nre steps. Overcast & cool. New rug in front of the stove looks nice. Out at 1230.

June 22 (Monday)
Pat & Gary Baker, & Calista Hanson and her friend Serena here at 2:40 PM. 73 degrees & cloudy. Lower gate was open. The new steps look great & they're built to last a hundred years! Kudos to Kevin, Michele, and Kyle. Also noticed the new window in the kitchen - it also looks great! 67 degrees at 8:30 pm partly cloudy.

June 23 (Tuesday)
6:45 AM calm, clear, 45 degrees. Serene & peaceful evening yesterday. Kyle & Kevin were here for a short time. Lee & Carole here about 12:30 PM. 3:00 PM cloudy, a few sprinkles, 77 degrees. Pleasant day, a few sprinkles at suppertime. 71 degrees at 6:30 & overcast.

June 24 (Wednesday)
51 degrees, clear, calm @7:00 AM. Lazy day, Lee & I chatted, all the females went to Helena for several hours. 75 degrees, overcast, light breeze @ 2:30 PM. Cloudy, calm, 69 degrees at 8:30 PM.

June 25 (Thursday)
6:30, calm, cloudy, 57 degrees. DJ & Dorrie here about 11:30 AM. Slight breeze, scattered clouds, 80 degrees @ 12:30. Joann in at 5 p.m. Sheila came around 7. Still very hot at 9 p.m.

7 a.m. 69 degrees partly cloudy. Betsy & Rod Maynard out early on way home. 79 total people! p.m. only 16 here! Heat was bad

Daneil & friends Jim & Carla Bubb to camp out & climb rocks - where are the aluminum pans that used to hang by the stove? Out Sunday 2-ish

Daneil Belcher & Katie & Cody Scott in @ 6pm - went to Park Lake - 64 degrees overcast but not wet

August 9 (Sunday)
60 degrees at 9am - 74 degrees upon leaving - clear & sunny active hornet nest over the door in the outhouse

August 21 (Friday)
Kevin & Michele in @ 530pm 72 degrees & smokey. 44 degrees @ 10PM lights out

August 22 (Saturday)
35 degrees cold @ 730 good rainshowers overnight kicked out the fire smoke. Carla & Paul in ~ 10 AM Greg, Helen, & Karen in about noon. Kyle in ~ 230pm lots of work accomplished. Pig wire up on either side of south gate (one leading to Marks') & then Helen & Kevin sawed out fence to SE corner & off towards N. Carla & Michele cleared debris as we went and Greg/Paul are excellent fence menders! Carla & Paul into town for night of socializing /w friends. Kyle off to Havre ~ 730pm

August 23 (Sunday)
After breakfast we went down and worked from horse barn towards spring & tied in where we left off yesterday. Carla & Helen also cleaned up lots of old wire from behind barn in-barn, ready for a recycle trip. Took screen off kitchen so Helen can find new springed hinges. 230 pm - Packed up & heading out. Smoke back & getting hot again!

September 7 (Monday) LABOR DAY
Brad Smith & Carla Reneau in from Missoula, Helen Smith From White Sulphur Springs @ 10:45 AM @ 50 degrees Nice day. Kevin, Michele, & Karen StG & Daneil Belcher in from Helena & Boulder @ 11:30. Roof caulking & garage straightening. Awning cover in large trash can in garage to protect from creatures. Daneil scooted after a short visit & walk. Auntie hung w/dogs. 230 ish - wrapping up & heading out.

September 11 (Friday) 70 degreees @ 130pm Kevin & Michele in for the weekend. Danewil in around 630. Lights out @ 1030.

September 12 (Saturday)
50 degrees@630 Michele & Daneil painted & primed Kevin cut some trees. 84 degrees @ 330. Pork kababs for diner then alittle pie ring action. Another 1030 night.

September 13 (Sunday) 50 degrees@7am. Biscuits & gravy then more painting. Brad Smith in around 1030 to help repair the roof. Katie Belcher & Karen st George in around noon. Karen, Kandice, Daneil, Katie left before dinner.

September 14 (Monday)
52 degrees @ 7AM. Brad, Michele, & Kevin out @ 11AM

September 25 (Friday)
Terry, Don, Mac in from WF Nice day, about 86 degrees this pm. MLR lady here for general inspection, all o. k.

October 5 (Monday)
Helen, Greg, & Greg's Uncle Brian (visiting from Marshall, Michigan) in from White Sulphur Springs ~ 1 pm. Beautiful day - 52 degrees F on porch. Roof looks like it will hold winter.. 2nd paint job on cabin looks great - thanks everybody for all your hard work! Closing up & heading out about 2pm. Greg to WSS / Helen & Brian to Missoula.

November 13 (Friday)
45 degrees @ 215PM. Kevin & Michele in to check on things. Some snow but not a lot.
