36 degrees at 1:30PM Light snow & light breeze. Kevin, Michele, Kassi, & Kyle in for the weekend. A little bit more
snow than at X-mas. About 3 inches in the yard and maybe 6 by the gate. Big moose track running through the field.
he/she's been bedding down by the motorcycle sign and by the camping area. 26 degrees @ 10PM. Lights out.
February 19 (Monday)
20 degrees @ 7AM clear & sunny. Michelle gave me a free cribage lesson after breakfast. All packed & ready to go.
Out of here 1:30.
March 3 (Saturday)
37 degrees 315pm - Kevin Michele Kyle Bruce Dogs Daisy & Newbaby Amp along/w Friends Rick & Sandy in for quick trip to clean out chimney.
Brushed it cleaned out top of stove & Ash box. Kyle & Bruce ran the Bruch Michele cleaned out the Stove & Kevin
Supervised. Too cold to mop the floor. Next trip. Out at about 5 pm.
April 4 (Wednesday)
Skye & DHP in from WF at about 2pm. 41 degrees, calm & overcast. Started to rain at around 7pm & turned to snow at
8 pm - still coming down at 9pm.
April 5 (Thursday)
Calm, overcast, 22 degrees at 7am. About 1" of snow. Never did warm up but snow is gone. 32 degrees at 3pm, calm,
overcast (no sun). Visited with Bob Marks this morning and with Mark Krpan this afternoon. Talked about BLM right-of-way. 26
degrees at 8pm Looks like snow moving in.
April 6 (Friday)
No snow, thick overcast, 22 degrees & calm at 7a.m. Sky and I will be heading for home this morning.
5:30pm overcast, Kevin Michele Kassi & Kyle in. cabin still warm.
April 7 (Saturday)
22 degrees @ 7AM sporatic snow flakes here & there. Roger Petersen shoped up about 1130AM on a mission from DHP.
Worked around the woodshed brought some jacklegs from the Clarabelle to make into firewood.

20 degrees @ 730 & sunny We will be out of here early this morning.

76 degrees 6:30PM cloudy - Kevin, Michele, Kyle, & Kassi Everything is nice & green. Musta had a few heavy showers
lately by the looks of the ruts in the road up on top. Looks to be a rabbit taking up residence under the porch.
May 19 (Saturday)
50 degrees cloudy 720AM. Niki & Josh up around noon. Made some more firewood. Light showers with thunder & lightning
in the distance. 72 degrees @ 430pm. Cleaning & closing up.

Carla, Pual, Zane & Sterling Reneau & friend Austin Graef in @ 12:15 PM 62 degrees sunny - beautiful day - green & moist
Elkhorns covered in snow from storm on Thurs. Helen (40-year old B-da girl) Smith & Greg Munger in @ 1230 PM All
looks good. Lois Smith rolled in around 3PM. Little rock climbing, homework, walk to spring (got some nasty toadflax).
Helen's friends Scott, Tina, Mo, Marc & Coco rolled in around 5:30 from Helena for dinner & a B-Day celebration. All
closed down by 11 PM.

Beautiful morning. Carla & Helen cooked a good breakfast for all - the day (AM) was sunny 'til afternoon. Karen St.G
out by 11:AM. Showers intermitently all afternoon & eve. Karen back to Hln to spend time with Gerald & Mary. Played
some games. Clouds breaking up before lights went out - about 45 degrees - 10:30PM

44 degrees - 8AM - Breaking up camp - Helen & Greg to Arlee (Helen on her way to NM & CO early Tues morn), Reneau family
to Msla - boys have projects to finish. Good time had by all!

Noon 68 degrees & cloudy. Kevin Michele & Kyle in to mow. Outa here @ 5:30pm Back tomorrow to finish the Small Stuff.

Lee & Carole Baker arrived for reunion - put up new Homestead Flag & US Flag. Cleaned up opened up.

Gary & Pat Baker arrived. Weather = stormy but ok.
June 20 (Wednesday)
Dorrie & DJ arrived 12;30 & joined the small but happy group. Little showers in afternoon. Helen, Madison, Sterling
& Zane got here about 4:15. Playing new game - tennis balls on cords - sort of like horse shoes but much gentler -
so far...

Dawson & Derrick here for the day only. Food, food, food if anyone left hungary it was their own fault! Little kids,
middle age kids, & older kids - each had a Pinata to bat at - - fun, fun! Annual mtg was held.

Some people packing up and moving on. By late afternoon 10 people had the place to themselves. Showers made an
appearance - some had thunder and hail & lightning with them. Carol, Pat, Tammy put together a meal, Karen & Lois
helped eat it. Spent the evening playing Sequence.

Sunny 50 degrees 6AM. Breezy AM Tammy, Dean, Zac, Calista to Blg - 11AM - Pat & Gary B. 11:25AM, Karen & Lois during
noon hr. Port-A-Pottie people out between 9 & 10AM. 59-11:30AM Carol & Lee holding down the place 'til Tues.

2:00PM 95 degrees hot & sunny Kevin Michele Kassi & Kyle St.George in for the weekend. 86 degrees @ 8PM. It's off
to the rodeo.
July 14 (Saturday)
9AM 84 degrees no clouds & little breeze. Josh, Nikki, & Nolan here around 11AM cloudy 98 degrees. Put new roof on
woodshed. Bruce in around 4PM to help. 7Pm 100 degrees still. Off to East Helena to work the rodeo again.

84 degrees Lois, Zane, & Sterling out from Hln after Zane's soccer game at Capitol and other stops. Got here about
3:PM. Had a late, late lunch. A momma deer was here with twin fawns. Stayed for some time, not bothered by us.
Boys napping - they were tired from the trip to Hln. Carla & Paul will come Sun. AM.
September 2 (Sunday)
60 degrees AM - 8AM - Carla & Paul here by 10AM. Did a brunch. Warmed up fast - 88 degrees 5PM - Friends of Carla
& Paul came out to visit from E. Hln - Rick, Hillary, Keenen? Thompson. Stayed to eat, then back to E. Hln at dark.
We played card games 'til after 10PM Sterling skunked us. 69 degrees at bedtime

Labor Day Happy Birthday Andie Moore (Petersen) and Gerald St G.! 70 degrees - AM having a bagel & fruit breakfast,
then cleaning area and heading out. Reneau's to Msla, Lois to Gtfs. between 1 & 2PM. 89 degrees at 1:30PM
October 21 (Sunday)
Terry, Skye & DHP in from Boz. at 10 am, sunshine, breeze & 44 degrees. The new firewood addition to the woodshed
looks great. A BIG attaboy (or attagirl) to those that did it! We're heading back to Boz at about 3:30 pm.
November 13 (Tuesday)
In for Land Reliance visit. Put out rat poison in living room & garage - beware for kids & dogs!
December 21 (Friday)
18 degrees & clear @ 6PM. Kevin Michele Kassi & Kyle in from Boulder for the weekend.
December 22 (Saturday)
2 degrees @ 7AM clear & cold. Happy B-Day to Kyle (14yo). The snow is pretty scarce. There is hardly any in the
shaded gulches. Karen St. George showed up @ 1:30. Roger Petersen, Travis, & Josh up for the afternoon. Karen went
back to Hln after dinner & cake. Heavy clouds & 18 degrees @ 1030pm lights out.
December 23 (Sunday)
25 degrees & clear @ 730AM. Nice lazy day. Michele gave out backgammon lessons for free. I had to play her cribbage to regain some pride.
22 degree & clouds @ 10PM.
December 24 (Monday)
Christmas eve 30 degree light snow @ 7AM. I took Michele to the woodshed again before breakfast. Cleaned up & outa here @ 11AM.
