April 16 (Saturday)
Donald Petersen & Ray Smith out to assess break-in that happened Easter weekend & found by Bruce St. George the next weekend. Screens torn up and lock broken. Log book missing.

May 29 (Sunday)
Ray, Lois, Carla and Winston & Lenora in about 10 AM - 64 dgrees - clear & sunny. Not to much water at the spring. Carla left for Missoula via Lincoln about 3:30 PM. 82 degrees - must be a record for this time of year. Getting ready to head out 6:45 PM. Everyone had some nice walks. Hope to be back in several weeks.

June 12 (Sunday)
Hank & Ray in at 6:30 PM. 50 degrees. There has been a lot of rain. Spun a bunch coming in. Didn't get stuck. Marks has cows in. Someone broke the chain on the garage and split one of the boards. It can be patched and chain spliced. Time for a 12 oz. sandwich. Fresh snow on mountains east of here.

June 13 (Monday)
46 degrees, 7:30 AM. What a good nites sleep. Sort of cloudy. Reached 65 degrees today. No rain. Hank did a bunch of work - I watched. Beautiful clear evening. 60 degrees, 8:30 PM.

June 14 (Tuesday)
47 degrees, 7:30 AM. Sunny & clear, going to be a dandy. Duane, Rodger & Weston arrived 9:00 AM. Good to see them. Duane & crew left 5:37 1/2 PM. We made a bunch of jack-legs. We sure appreciated the "help". We would not have gotten them done without his help. Rodger didn't feel good. It will take 46 jack-legs and a couple of posts to be set to complete the west quarter on the south line of the west 80. Reached 74 degrees today. 60 degrees at 9:20 PM. About sack time.

June 15 (Wednesday)
54 degrees, 7:30 AM. Slightly overcast. 65 degrees at 10:50 AM. Hank & Ray will be leaving about 11:15 AM.

July 7 (Thursday)
Joann, Hank & Sheila got in approx. 6:30. Showered some shortly after arrival. HOT!! Forgot to look at temp when we first came but 76 degrees at 9:10 PM after the shower.

July 8 (Friday)
Up early. Hank fixed some road-holes coming down the hill. Temp 68 degrees @ 9:00 AM, clear. Paul N. arrived around 3 followed by Chas. & Dorrie S. Then Cec Haines, then Ben & Louis Baker, Tammy & Shanda and then Fern & Merle H. John Schaefers and Dave Petersen arrived right at supper. Thunder but no rain yet. Don, Terry Petersen, Jennifer and friend arrived around 8 PM. Thunder lightning & rain during night.

July 9 (Saturday)
58 degrees @ 10 AM. Cool & cloudy. Breakfast in relays. Carla Smith I Andie Petersen in around 1 PM & Lois & Ray Smith & Kathie Schaefers around 2:30. Rained off and on. Karen St. George & Kevin arrived late p.m. Ate on porch because of rain. Played cards all evening.

July 10 (Sunday)
Rain. 45 degrees at 7 A.M. Ray S. walked down to meet Brad & Helen. Breakfast in relays. 27 Here. RAIN, RAIN, RAIN. Helen & friend Lonnie went back to Gt Fls. Majority heading out today - Carla & Andie first, followed by Sheila & Paul, John & Kathy, Dana & Mary. Then Terry & don, Joanne & Hank, Merle & Fern. Daneil & boyfriend Brian Miller in about 1 - 1:30 pm. Had some new food & a lot of leftovers. No one went hungry. Lifted off somewhat by 3 pm. 54 degrees - fresh snow on the peaks across the way. Daneil & Brian left early evening. Beautiful out, even some sunshine. Cecil, Louie, Charlie, & Ray had a big card game for about 7 hrs. Dorrie & Bennie went for a walk. Karen & Kevin left for Helena, then Shanda, Tammy, Dorrie, Bennie & Louis played cards for awhile. Several people thought they saw bear sign up around the north forty. 58 degrees about 7 p.m.

July 11 (Monday)
48 degrees sunny about 8 AM. More people getting ready to leave.Cecil left about 10:30 am, Ben & Louie about 11 AM, & Dorrie & Charlie shortly after 11:30 AM. Ray & Brad cutting wood. 80 degrees - 3 PM. Brad & Ray found some screen in garage so repaired screens during afternoon. 64 degrees - 9 PM. Cooling off nice. Thought Karen would show up so we could give her her some leftovers, but no show.

July 12 (Tuesday)
60 degrees - 8 AM - nice breeze. Cleaning out & packing up to head home, Brad, Ray, & Lois. Now that the weather's so great, out of the mood to leave.

August 13 (Saturday)
Dana Neidhardt & Mary Schulze here o'nite - no keys - camped outside. (jn 8/24)

August 24 (Wednesday)
2:20 p.m. - Brad Smith, Hank & Joann Neidhardt in. Everything ok. Temp 74 degrees in shade.

August 25 (Thursday)
52 degrees @ 8 A.M. Clear. Rained in night. Hank & Brad took several loads of jack-legs up to the fence. Got it all lined out for Fri. Fixed fence in two places in P.M. - Hank Brad & Joann. Hank sawed a leaning tree down & it fell the wrong way. Boy - can he run fast!! Billie Hanzel & friend Jamie came in around 9 - set up a tent.

August 26 (Friday)
46 degrees 7 A.M. - clear. Rained in night. Duane & Roger Petersen arrived 8:30 to build fence. Worked on fence until 4 p.m. Brad, Duane, & Roger left 6 p.m.. Looks showery all around us. Had a shower while working on fence this p.m. Dana N. in at 10:30. Cloudy & lotsa litening.

August 27 (Saturday)
50 degrees at 7 A.M. Clear out. Sprinkled last night. Finished the west 80 fence today. Repaired fence up in NW corner. Quit about 3. Starting to warm up. 84 degrees at 3 p.m.

August 28 (Sunday)
50 degrees & cloudy at 7:30 a.m. Went for a long walk. Warm & cloudy. Leaving at 3 p.m.

October 27 (Thursday)
Ray & Lois in at 11:15 AM. Will check things out and lock up. Messy kitchen floor & table. DHP & DKP out in Sept - 16th to 19th. Guess Karen & Kevin walked in from below Madsen's about 3 wks ago. Bruce was out first part of this week. Ray put brace in little bdrm & metal over outside hose hole - mice have been chewing on it. Will check gates then leave. Schuele's cows are gone.
