February 9 Monday
Lots of snow, walked part way in. Sunshine & 33 degrees at 11 a.m.
May 24 (Sunday)
Karen & Lois here shortly after 12PM. from Hln. - overcast sky, sprinkles off &
on. Temp about 57 degrees. Bruce checked all gates - they were closed. Grass
isn't tall enough to mow - maybe the the rain will help it grow. Will stay for
the day, & part of the evening. Going to Hln 8PM - clearing off.
June 9 (Tuesday)
DHP & Skye dog in from Whitefish about 230pm. Partly cloudy 52 degrees & lite
breeze. Lilacs & chokecherries in bloom. Snow on mountains east of us.
June 10 (Wednesday)
Overcast, calm, 40 degrees at 7 a.m. Had showers earlier & looks like more to
come. Turned out to be a nice day - sunshine & 62 degrees. Sprayed weeds for
about 4 hours. There's still some out there. Cleared a couple of trees out of
fence.
June 11 (Thursday)
Clear, calm, 35 degrees at 7 a.m. We're off to Whitefish this morning. Adios.
June 13 (Saturday)
Kevin, Michele, Kyle, & Bruce St. George in to do some haying.
June 14 (Sunday)
52 degrees @ 730AM. Paper boy never showed Karen St. George in around 1130. Light
showers off and on in the afternoon. Locked up @ 5PM
June 25 (Thursday)
Paul, April, Sami & Kristian Neidhardt in 610 pm 6/23. Gary & Pat Baker Dorrie
Simpson & D.J. Nelson in afternoon. Joann showed up about around 3:30 pm. HOT
Ken & Anna here around 6. Bruce St George afternoon. Brief shower - then cleared
off.

50 degrees @ 7:30am. Nikki - Josh & Nolan Jerome here. Karen St George - Lois

48 degrees @ 6 am. 66 degrees - 11AM - People moving around early and going out
Bruce St.G. Gary & pat Baker out about 7AM - heading to Blgs to make visit to the
Dr.'s for Pat. Helen Smith out by 803AM to Msla. Colleen & John Dunbar - visitors
out to Blgs soon after H.S., Sheila Neidhardt to Belgrade. Joann Neidhardt Cut
Bank by 10AM, Dorie J and Dorie on the road - 11 AM. to Calif. Hanson family -
Tammy, Dean, Zach, and Calista to Blgs. Karen St.G. and Lois Smith out before
12 PM. A mouse appears to be in lvg room. Don't LEAVE FOOD AROUND INSIDE THE
CABIN! PLEASE!
July 24 (Friday)
80 degrees Thunder & clouds, good rain shower for about 25 min. Karen St G & Lois
S here about 300 PM. Reneaus coming later. - after doing a gig at the Kleffner
ranch. Sun is out now 4:30. Zane & Sterling Reneau in at 5 PM or so with 3 great
pizzas for supper. Madison was with them. Carla & Paul were close behind. Madison,
Karen, & Lois watched the showers come & go - sunshine did the same, beautiful
eve. Saw 2 beautiful deer up the draw, bounding up the hill. Several bunnies
are around the place. Taught Madison the game Tri-Ominos - she caught on quick,
then Kings Corners. The three of us each had at least one win! Hit the beds about
11 PM - 72 degrees.
July 25 (Saturday)
About 65 degrees before 10 AM. Carla, Paul, & Madison going to Msla - 89 degrees
Clouds rolling in. Karen & Lois out soon 3:00 PM
30PM 56 degrees light rain Kevin, Michele, & Kyle St. George in for the night.
Cabin still warm.
July 26 (Sunday)
60 degrees sunny @ 8AM. Baby bunnies running around. There is a big toad living
under the gate post up by the old pig pen. Thunder & light showers throughout the
afternoon. 7PM 70 degrees overcast locking up.
August 9 (Saturday)
Terry, Don & Skye in from Boz at 9:30 am. Cool, breezy some clouds, 44 degrees.
Just a quick visit then off to WF.
August 19 (Wednesday)
Helen & Lois in about 1:15 pm. Lee & Carole here for relaxing. Lee & Helen had
a project going. 71 degrees - nice and sunny, no breezes! Rain seems to have brought
on a new crop of toadflax and knapweed - lots in bloom!
August 20 (Thursday)
Beautiful morning. 46 degrees @ 615 AM
Lois pulled out ~ 11 AM. Plan is for Gary & Pat Baker to come w/grandkids Zach &
Calista Thurs afternoon. Tammy & Dean to be out Friday evening. Helen will leave
Thurs. PM & the Baker clan to pull out on Sunday. It appears that nearly every
ponderosa pine from the barn to the cabin has been hit by mountain pine beetles.
Will see about Verbenone pouches on trees from garage towards draw; elsewise we'll
lose them all...
Pat & Gary B. in at 3:15 PM Beautiful afternoon - temp 81 degrees. Tami & Dean
Hanson & kids in at 7:30 PM.
August 21 (Friday)
Crisp clear day, 50 degrees at 6:00 AM. Great day! Hiked, read books, played
ladder golf and Bocci Ball. Lee put water seal coating on large picnic table.
Intermittent thundershowers in the late afternoon. 71 degrees at 7:30 PM, high
was in the low 90s during the day.
August 22 ( Saturday)
Partially cloudy 54 degrees at 6:30 AM rained off and on during the night. Another
beautiful day - walked the fence line from the to Mark's east. Deadfall across the
fence, removed what I could - it will take a chain saw to get the big logs off the
fence. Temp 76 degrees at 7:00 PM.
August 23 (Sunday)
Clear and calm 51 degrees at 7:00 AM. Been a great weekend, hate to leave. Wish
we could be here more often. Lee & Carol out at 8:45 AM. Putting motor home in
storage in Helena and then on to Billings. Pat & Gary & Hansons out at 11:00 AM
for Billings.
September 5 (Saturday)
Bruce, Karen, Lois here for Labor Day weekend. Expecting others - Reneaus, Boulder
bunch, Nikki and Nolan, etc. Happy birthday Paul Neidhardt! For the next three
days Paul, Brad S., and Daneil are the same age. How about that?! Cloudy - off -
and - on 79 degrees - 6:30 PM sun's out. Quiet eve - beautiful sky - 67 degrees -
9PM.
September 6 (Sunday)
58 degrees - 8-30 AM - still morning. Kassie, Nikki and Nolan came about 9:30AM.
Carla, Paul, Sterling in from Msla before noon. Hot - 80 degrees. Kevin, Michele,
Kyle here about 1:00PM
September 7 (Monday)
7 AM - 48 degrees - Kassie, Nikki & Nolan, Kevin, Michele Kyle left yesterday.
Helen in from Msla for a while. Wind is blowing hot & cold.
Do Not Use Silver Base Lantern, Valve Won't Turn Off!!! --> Why not put it in the
garbage??
September 22 (Tuesday)
DHP & Skye dog in from WF at about 5 pm. No wind, 68 degrees in shade, nice day.
September 23 (Wednesday)
Calm, clear, 38 degrees at 7 a.m. The bottom of the rain gauge was wet from days
gone by. No clouds today. Got up to 82 degrees in the shade. Hotter in the sun.
Met with MT Land Reliance lady to day - Everything was o.k. A new MLR monitor -
Andrea Darlington.
September 24 (Thursday)
42 degrees Clear & Calm at 7 a.m. Supposed to be in the 80's again today. Did a
bag of toadflax today & did some thinning of "small" trees. Put in a few porch
screws & tried to stay cool - mid 80's today, no wind.
September 25 (Friday)
48 degrees Clear Calm at 7 a.m. Skye & I are heading for Whitefish this morning.
September 27 (Sunday)
Nikki, Nolan & Karen arrived AM. Temp 52 degrees. Sunny. Turkeys at West fence
about 20. Most be ???? (indecipherable - GPB) Bruce arrived 12 noon. 58 degrees.
Light breeze.
November 6 (Friday)
Terry, Don & Skye in from Whitefish at about 2 p.m. Sunny, Breezy, 48 degrees
and 1/4" H2O in the rain gauge. Who took the cork pulling tool? Had to open a wine
bottle without it!
November 7 (Saturday)
Calm, partly cloudy 30 degrees at 7a.m. Hunted high & low from 7 a.m. till 12
noon. Never saw anything! At precisely 12:01 a nice buck spotted me when I spotted
him & 1 shot later he bit the dust. we went down & visited with Bob & Barbara
Marks this afternoon. Nice weather today - sunny 50 degrees, down in the 30's this
evening.
November 8 (Sunday)
Clear, calm, 30 degrees at 7a.m. Will be breaking camp & heading to Whitefish this
morning.
