DHP & Skye in from Whitefish with Henrik Berchtold Hanson from Copenhagen, DK.
On our way to Bozeman. All secure. (Note: Several lines in Danish written
here by Henrik Hanson that I can't read. GPB)
April 8 (Tuesday)
DHP & Skye in from Bozeman at about 11 am. Scattered cloud and slight breeze, 38
degrees at the cabin. Been having some snow this p.m., so far not sewrious. High
today about 40 degrees. Had 6" of heavy snow in Boz last nite.
April 9 (Wednesday)
Clear Calm Cold at 7 a.m. 20 degrees F. We'll be heading for Whitefish this
morning. Taking old water kettle & old hammer for tune-ups. Adios!
May 4 (Sunday)
Kevin Michele Kyle & Bruce St George in for the Afternoon to check on things &
Drop off a Double burner Propane Cooker - Should Speed Breakfast At the Reunion
A lot - looks like Someone is mud Bugging At the West Gate - lots of tore up
Ground w/Big tire tracks - Cabin Secure - 56 degrees at 1310 w/Cloudy Skies - 4
Does in front of the Cabin they didn't mind us at all. The Boys cut fence Rails,
will get mine next trip. 58 degrees & Sunny at 500 - hedding home.
May 21 (Wednesday)
DHP & Skye Dog in from WF at about 3pm. Overcast, about 46 degrees, breezy.
Fixed some fence down by spring. Got a new tenant under the back bedroom. Don't
know who it is? Some kind of a digger. 42 degrees & calm at 7 p.m.
May 22 (Thursday)
Overcast, raining, 40 degrees at 7 am. Been raining all night. Can always use
some moisture around here. Had 7 deer in the yard this morning. Am heading
for Boz at about 10a.m. Bye.
May 28 (Wednesday)
DHP & Skye dog in from Boz at 11 a.m. - nice sunshiny day, 51 degrees - 2 1/2"
in the rain gauge - Bueno! Will plant a couple of new creepers. Please water
them. Heading for Whitefish at about 1 p.m.
June 1 (Sunday)
Kenin Michele Kyle St George & Pat Clemens (michele's mom) (from Missori) in
for Afternoon - Rain Sprinkles. Looks like lots more to come. Treated the
Stocktank w/algie killer & moss killer, Pulled Toad flax & then had lunch - Nice
Rain Shower w/Thunder & lightning During lunch. Locked up and out at 545. 58
degrees.
June 13 (Friday)
Full overcast 60 degrees @ 6 PM. Kevin Michele Kassi & Kyle St George in for
the weekend. 2" in the rain guage.
June 14 (Saturday)
36 degrees @ 7AM sunny. The chores can now begin. Bruce & Karen St George in @
1PM. 74 degrees at 2PM.
June 15 (Sunday)
Happy Fathers Day! 36 degrees at 7AM A lone doe stoped by during breakfast. 72
degrees @ 3 PM everyone heading out.
June 19 (Thursday)
DHP & Skye dog in from WF at about 2 p.m. Temp in the low 70's, nice day. Fed
the creepers and roses. Put some water seal on the two outside tables. Lilacs
in bloom and smelling good.
June 20 (Friday)
Clear, calm, 50 degrees at 1 a.m. Looks good for spraying weeds. Spent most of
the day distributing about 40 gal. of medicated water to the thirsty, wild,
noxious weeds - mostly of the toadflax variety.
June 21 (Saturday)
Clear, calm, 45 degrees - will be heading for Whitefish the a.m.
June 22 (Sunday)
Bruce, Karen & dog Amp. 64 degrees reading on porch them. Kevin, Michele &
Daisy dog arrived AM. We are heading out PM. Beautiful day! 70 degrees reading
from porch temp.
June 23 (Monday)
Lee and Carole Baker arrived around 1:30pm. Warm sunny day.
June 25 (Wednesday)
DJ Nelson and Dorrie Haines in today. Beautiful weather - everything is GREEN!!

Joann Neidhardt here p.m. Shanda & Matt Snodgrass; Caitlyn, Dylan, Tanner,
Keirstyn, Mykayla from Sugar Grove, Illonis. Hot but sunny & nice. Starting to
look like tent city. Zach Hanson & Calista.
June 27 (Friday)
7 am - sunny - calm 52 degrees - going to be hot again. Kassi St George &
friend Kassy Kroll late last night. A.M Betsy & Rod Maynard, grandaughter Gracie.
Sue Krieger, Jade Anna Carson Diane Gillingham Helen Smith & Carla Reneau came
around noon. Kevin & Michele St George & Kassi's boy friend came around 1 or so.
Paul, Sami & Kristian Niedhardt and Paul, Zane & Stirling Reneau. Karen St
George, Lois Smith, Molly Petersen - Nikki Josh Jerome & Nolan, Terry & Don

June 28 (Saturday)
6:45 am. 40 degrees clear calm
Lee did his sour-dough hot cakes. Others did eggs bacon etc etc. Lotsa hikers
this A.M. while it was cool - some went too late and it was really hot. Walked
down to the east fence & back. Sue Davy, Josh & Richard arrived, Jamie & Dixie
Fadness 77 last count. Saw a deer just below the woodshed P.M.
June 29 (Sunday)
40 degrees @ 6:15 am - clear, calm. After a fairly early breakfast people began
tearing down tents etc & getting ready to leave. Jenn & Monte - Sheila & Joann
drove into Helena to see Molly & Mike's house. Very hot in afternoon - 92 degrees
on the porch @ 3 p.m.
June 30 (Monday)
6 am 56 degrees few clouds calm
Paul & Bruce saw 4 mule deer does at the gate this am & then they just walked
thru camp going west. Everyone packing up & pulling out. Dorrie, DJ gone by 12PM.
Karen and Lois donated time trying to get the garage door closed, it was a b____
because chains were twisted up! (over 1 hr 45 min) TA! TA! One deer ran up the
yard slope while we were working. Out 1:PM -
July 16 (Wednesday)
DKP & Samantha 11AM 77 degrees nice. Watered creepeers & went inside. Things
look good. going up the rocks & out 1 pm
August 30 (Saturday)
Helen Smith & Zane Reneau in about 12:30 pm. 77 degrees & nice. Carla, Paul,
Sterling Reneau & friend Austin Graf in by 1 pm. Lois & Karen in by 2:15. Josh,
Nikki, Nolan & puppy Trigger Jerome came in late afternoon. Showered off & on
until dark, then cleared off to show lots & lots of stars. Everybody in bed by
about 11 pm.
August 31 (Sunday)
Helen & Piper up first ~6:30 AM. 47 degrees on porch & very cloudy. Still only
48 degrees at 12:30 pm! Had one good shower, but mostly just low clouds.

September 8 (Wednesday)
DHP & Skye in from WF at about 2pm. Calm, high overcast, 60 degrees. All quiet.
Pumped out the stock tank, will go back tomorrow & clean out the muck.
September 9 (Thursday)
Calm, overcast, 38 degrees at 7A .m. Mucked out the stock tank & blew out the
pipe to the spring - WOW - it really worked. Good flow rate. Breezy, overcast,
56 degrees at 2 p.m. The hornets are getting real fiesty this time of year. I
put some rat poison in the garage.
September 10 (Friday)
Clear, calm, 36 degrees at 7a.m. We'll be packing & heading home after breakfast
(spam & eggs). Adios!
October 25 (Saturday)
Sky dog & DHP in from WF at about 2 pm. Sunny, breezy & about 60 degrees. Did
some reconnisance, nothing to report. Everything is pretty dry.
October 26 (Sunday)
Clear, calm, 20 degrees at 7a.m. hunted high & hunted low, nada at either level.
Worked from 7:30 am to 6 pm with timeout for MGD & sardines. It was clear
w/sunshine all day but temp never above 38 degrees, now 25 degrees & clear & calm
at 8pm.
October 27 (Monday)
Clear, calm, 15 degrees at 7a.m. Had our annual visit with MT Land Reliance this
morning. Everything o.k. Visited with Bob & Barbara Marks this p.m. Did hunting
in between. Stayed clear & calm all day, got up to 55 degrees. Hunted till dark.
Saw does & fawns, plus a coyote. Nothing to put a tag on.
October 28 (Tuesday)
Clear, calm, 25 degrees at 1 a.m. Will be heading home this a.m. Put another
treat in the garage for the mice/rats. The one from last month was all eaten.
November 18 (Tuesday)
DHP & Sky in about 1:30pm. Clear, small breeze, 66 degrees. About 1 1/2" of water
in the rain gauge - no snow.
November 19 (Wednesday)
Totally overcast 9no sun) and calm, 30 degrees. Looking for Bambi's papa. Found
the Big Buck! home with some venison.
